The Compact 6 Plus flooring system has numerous advantages for structures in which a radiant screed is installed. Underfloor heating is the most suitable system for large rooms with high ceilings, for several factors: uniformity of heating, energy saving, absence of convective motions and self-regulation of the heating body. These benefits are obtained thanks to the large surface of the heating mass which in the case of underfloor heating, is characterized by the total available area.
Compact 6 Plus on radiant screed is an ideal parquet for the underfloor heating system, as the entire surface of the gym acts as a giant radiator, with very low operating temperatures compared to other systems. The heat is transmitted by radiation in the 25 mm air compartment and by contact through the supports. The possible replacement of floor parts for maintenance does not involve any intervention on the plant engineering part. Indeed, the completely free and flat surface makes the restoration operations particularly fast and inexpensive.
Flooring simply made by placing the 12 mm thick phenolic Playwood beams, perpendicular to the width of the environment, on an elastic mattress of 8 mm thick.
Substructure thickness: 20 mm
The flooring is formed by an oak parquet with a thickness of 22 mm
Total thickness of a system is of 42 mm.
Wood: oak
The boards (slabs/panels) are pre-finished and varnished on each side to prevent dimensional changes and guarantee the stability of the floor. The panels are coated with 6 layers of polyurethane UV varnish, providing a top dry coating film with a thickness of at least 45 microns and a surface roughness of 0.5 microns.
