They are used indoors and outdoors with significant point and distributed loads. PAVINETTI rubber tiles with a smooth mounting base (thickness 30mm, 40mm) - consists of two layers: the bottom layer, which determines the thickness and basic shock-absorbing properties, usually black, and the top layer of a smaller fraction of colored rubber crumbs. Used primarily as surfaces for sports playgrounds. The elastic surface of the rubber tile has good shock absorption and injury protection, and also provides a good rebound of the ball.

After rain, the surface of the rubber tile remains non-slippery. Thick rubber tiles have vibration and sound insulation properties, so they are often used in areas where free weights are used and as anti-ricochet coatings in shooting ranges. It is laid both on a prepared solid base (concrete, asphalt) and on a prepared, pre-leveled and compacted loose base: crushed stone, compacted sand mixture, cement-sand mixture (CSM), sand-gravel mixture (SGM).
